What you get for $25.

Five 4×4-inch samples cut from real BASINCRAFT inventory — the same blocks we carve full pieces from. Each sample is finished to your selected finish (polished, honed, tumbled, or leathered) and labeled with the stone name and origin quarry.

Samples ship via DHL or UPS in a small, padded box. Tracked end-to-end. Typical US delivery is 5–7 business days from order.

How the credit works.

Your $25 sample fee returns as store credit on any first order of $200 or more. Auto-applied at checkout when you use the email address from your sample order — no code to remember.

Credit is good for 12 months from the sample order date and can be combined with the standard 10% trade discount if you're approved through the Trade Program.

How to order samples.

Email help@basincraft.com with:

Your name and shipping address
The 5 stones you want (use the names from our Stone Education page or product listings)
Preferred finish for each (polished, honed, tumbled, leathered, or “whatever you recommend”)
What you're considering them for (helps us pick alternates if one is out of stock)

We invoice $25 via Shopify, you pay by card, samples ship within 2 business days.

What samples show — and what they don't.

What samples reliably show: Stone color, veining pattern direction, finish texture, light reflection at different angles, how the stone reads against your tile/cabinetry/paint.

What samples don't show perfectly: Full slab veining (a 4×4 sample can't capture the dramatic veining of a full vessel sink), structural fissures (these appear at random and are an authentic part of natural stone), and exact bookmatch outcomes for slab walls.

If you're commissioning a high-stakes piece (large bathtub, dining table, bookmatched accent wall), we recommend reviewing slab photos in addition to samples. Email your specialist after sampling and we'll send slab options for your final approval before cutting begins.

International samples.

$25 sample shipping is to US addresses only. For Canada add $15. For UK/EU add $25. For Australia, Japan, UAE add $40. International samples take 7–12 business days via DHL Express. Credit applies the same way on first order.
