Silver Travertine Blasted 2x4 arrives as a mesh-backed sheet you set like a single tile. The stone is travertine, quarried and worked in Turkey. Chip format is 2x4. Chips sit on a straight grid, quiet enough to run the full height of a wall without fighting anything else in the room.

Surface and color. The face of each chip is opened mechanically, with no acid and no chemical wash, so it keeps the texture the stone had in the ground. Overall the sheet reads gray, silver, brown and beige. Mineral content changes through the quarry face, which is why one box can sit lighter or darker than the next. Silver describes the tone of this travertine, not a treatment applied to it. Sheets are thinned in production, so they are light enough to go on a wall without a structural allowance.

The stone. Blocks are selected at the quarry face before cutting, which is how the color range on a sheet stays inside a usable band. Nothing here is filled, dyed or resin-backed — the sheet is stone and mesh, and what you see is the stone itself.

Where it works. Designers specify it for shower niches, vanity walls, island fronts and stair-side feature panels. For floor use, check the finish against the traffic the room actually takes.

Setting it. Plan the layout from the visible corner outward so any cut sheet lands where it is least seen, and dry-lay a few sheets first to mix batches. Butter the wall rather than the sheet, keep the mesh dry, and align sheets by eye at the seam so the joint disappears.

What the photographs show. Use the flat sheet image to judge scale and the installed images to judge tone. Stone changes noticeably between a close-up and a wall seen at twelve feet.
