A hand-set marble mosaic on mesh backing, Black Marble Hexagon Mosaic 12x12 is produced to order in our Denizli workshop. Chip format is 12x12. Hexagons carry a wall on their own, so this one does not need a border or a feature strip to look finished.

Surface and color. Chips are cut and calibrated, then hand-set on mesh to an even joint. Tone runs through gray and black. Because it is quarried stone rather than a printed ceramic, no two sheets are identical and batches will not match exactly. The Black name refers to the quarry seam the marble is taken from, which is what sets the color band.

The stone. Marble is metamorphic and dense, which is what lets it take a crisp edge on a chip this small. Nothing here is filled, dyed or resin-backed — the sheet is stone and mesh, and what you see is the stone itself.

Where it works. Most customers use it for a kitchen backsplash or a shower surround; it also works as a fireplace face or a TV-wall panel. For floor use, check the finish against the traffic the room actually takes.

Setting it. Set it on a flat, primed substrate with a white polymer-modified thin-set; gray adhesive can shadow through a light stone. Plan the layout from the visible corner outward so any cut sheet lands where it is least seen, and dry-lay a few sheets first to mix batches.

What the photographs show. Look at the flat shot first — it tells you the chip size and the joint. Then look at the room shots: a mosaic that reads busy at arm's length often settles down completely once it covers a whole wall.

Ordering. The sheet price is $24.99. US delivery is free; stock is held and dispatched in Connecticut. Production and dispatch times are shown on this page; the full schedule is in our Shipping Policy.
